New growth emerges, blue-grey, soft as seeds develop, encased in cones. Silent in the days of sun and rain, they wait their time to open, the future written in darkness.

Tender petals open. Their vivid colors set like jewels against verdant leaves.

The sun begins its descent, clouds deflecting rays in a wide circle, touching the earth with gentle warmth. My mind relaxes from the deluge of the day as the creator continues the work of renewal.

At each day’s end, I visit my gardens, to see what has changed. I’m greeted by open faces – unguarded, offering their unique gifts that bring joy and healing to a world weary spirit.

A fresh breeze arrives, bringing relief from days of heat. The waters still, reflecting blue.

The face of the moon shines bright between stark branches, their arms beckoning me to stop, to consider, Preview(opens in a new tab) as threads of cloud unspool, silently circling the moon’s face before continuing on in their journey across the sky.

The tulip tree flowers, its blossoms cup the morning light in a delicate blend of orange and lime, with just a spritz of cream.
