There’s something about walking the neighborhood
in evening’s waning light, of taking this time
to be present for the changing of the guard, from day
into night. My muscles release the stresses
built up during the day – the work, the care taking,
the decisions that come with each new hour.
For a brief time, I just stand still, and watch
in wonder the immense mystery taking place in the sky.
Dawn and dusk are the most beautiful and inspiring times of the day. Lovely poem.

Thank you so much, Jane. Nature always does that for me…seeing God’s creative and loving hand at work is a healing elixir, indeed.
